Uganda Youth and Adolescents Health Forum (UYAHF) is a youth-led nonprofit organization founded in 2023 that advances sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), gender equality, and youth empowerment across Uganda.
The organization focuses on improving access to family planning, maternal and child health services, HIV prevention, comprehensive sexuality education, and menstrual health management, particularly for adolescent girls and young women.
Through youth hubs, leadership initiatives, and a youth-friendly clinic offering subsidized healthcare services, UYAHF empowers young people to build confidence, exercise bodily autonomy, and make informed decisions about their health and future. The organization also advocates against gender-based violence, harmful cultural practices, and stigma, while mobilizing youth voices to influence policies and programs at district and national levels.
Operating in nearly 30 districts across Uganda, UYAHF works with schools, healthcare providers, community leaders, and international partners to improve health outcomes and expand opportunities for adolescents and young people.
