Kenya Female Advisory Organization
KEFEADO (Kenya Female Advisory Organization) is a gender-focused nonprofit advancing gender equality, girls’ education, reproductive health, and women’s economic empowerment across Western Kenya’s Lake Basin region. Through community advocacy and policy engagement, KEFEADO addresses gender-based violence, harmful cultural practices, social inclusion, and human rights, transforming attitudes and creating sustainable opportunities for women and girls.

KEFEADO (Kenya Female Advisory Organization) is a gender-focused nonprofit organization working to eliminate gender disparities in education, health, and economic empowerment across Western Kenya. Operating in 14 counties within the Lake Basin region, KEFEADO implements community-driven programs that promote gender equality, social inclusion, and women’s economic independence.
Through advocacy, grassroots engagement, and policy influence at national, regional, and international levels, KEFEADO addresses harmful cultural practices, gender-based violence (GBV), sexuality rights violations, and broader human rights abuses. The organization works to transform community attitudes and behaviors by promoting equitable access to education, reproductive health services, leadership opportunities, and sustainable livelihoods for women and girls.
By combining advocacy, community mobilization, and strategic partnerships, KEFEADO advances social justice, protects vulnerable populations, and empowers women and girls to participate fully in society.
