How SHE_CENTRE Empowers Women and Girls to Grow, Heal, and Access Life-Changing Opportunities
When I bought my first phone as a young girl, I honestly didn’t understand its value. I used it to take photos of myself, post my face, and show people my life, almost like I was advertising myself without even knowing why. I thought that was what having a phone meant.
I never imagined that one day this same phone would connect me to opportunities, knowledge, and women who would completely change how I see my future.
One day, during an interview, I spoke with a very powerful woman, Resti Tuta. She spoke to me about experience, growth, and opportunities, things I had never fully understood before. The way she explained life, purpose, and direction opened my mind in a new way. That conversation became a turning point for me. It was also the moment I discovered the SHE_Centre platform.
Something shifted inside me.
I realised many young girls are not failing because they are weak or incapable; they are struggling because they lack access to guidance, support, or the right environment to grow.
