Community Rights and Development Foundation (CRIDEF) is a registered non-governmental organization based in the Albertine region of Western Uganda, working to advance women’s empowerment, child protection, gender equality, and community resilience. Operating in districts including Kikuube, Buliisa, and Kagadi, CRIDEF delivers grassroots, community-driven programs that support vulnerable women and girls, survivors of gender-based violence (GBV), and underserved rural populations. Through direct community engagement, CRIDEF provides GBV prevention and response services, including referrals, rights awareness, and protection support, while strengthening community and family support systems. The organization also promotes economic empowerment and sustainable livelihoods, enabling women to build financial independence and long-term stability. Recognizing the intersection between climate and vulnerability, CRIDEF integrates climate resilience and environmental sustainability initiatives, addressing the disproportionate impact of environmental challenges on women and girls. CRIDEF is committed to improving access to trusted, safe, and verified support services, aligning with platforms like SHE Centre to bridge information gaps and ensure women and girls can easily find the help they need. Through collaboration, safeguarding, and community-centered solutions, CRIDEF contributes to building safer, more inclusive, and resilient communities across Uganda and East Africa.

Uganda Youth and Adolescents Health Forum (UYAHF) is a youth-led nonprofit organization founded in 2023 that advances sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), gender equality, and youth empowerment across Uganda. The organization focuses on improving access to family planning, maternal and child health services, HIV prevention, comprehensive sexuality education, and menstrual health management, particularly for adolescent girls and young women. Through youth hubs, leadership initiatives, and a youth-friendly clinic offering subsidized healthcare services, UYAHF empowers young people to build confidence, exercise bodily autonomy, and make informed decisions about their health and future. The organization also advocates against gender-based violence, harmful cultural practices, and stigma, while mobilizing youth voices to influence policies and programs at district and national levels. Operating in nearly 30 districts across Uganda, UYAHF works with schools, healthcare providers, community leaders, and international partners to improve health outcomes and expand opportunities for adolescents and young people.

Together Against Childhood Sexual Violence Uganda (TACSEVU) is a child protection nonprofit founded in 2024 and dedicated to ending child sexual violence, child marriage, teenage pregnancy, and child trafficking in Uganda. Established by Founder and CEO Nabunnya Gloria, TACSEVU advocates for children’s rights and works to create safe, protective environments where children can live free from abuse, exploitation, and systemic marginalization. Through community empowerment, awareness campaigns, and rights-based advocacy, the organization addresses the root causes of violence against children while promoting access to education, healthcare, and social support systems. TACSEVU envisions a society where every child is safe, valued, and empowered to thrive in dignity, security, and opportunity.

United for Children’s Inter Development Action Uganda (UNCIDA) is a nonpartisan, not-for-profit organization founded in 2008 and dedicated to advancing child rights, gender equality, and community development in Western Uganda. UNCIDA works to strengthen protective environments for children, youth, and families through high-impact programs in child protection, gender-based violence (GBV) prevention, education, health and nutrition, WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene), climate change adaptation, renewable energy, and peacebuilding. The organization responds to humanitarian emergencies in coordination with civil society partners to safeguard vulnerable children and marginalized communities. Through advocacy, policy engagement, and community capacity-building, UNCIDA amplifies the voices of children, girls, young women, minorities, and children with disabilities, ensuring their participation in decision-making processes. A member of Girls Not Brides Uganda, UNCIDA campaigns against child marriage and violence against children while promoting equal rights, social inclusion, and sustainable development.
